MY name is Emma Louise James and I’d like to give an update on my fundraising to donate mental health/domestic violence packs to high schools and libraries.
I have been applying for grants – one has funded 50 packs.
Four churches and a community centre said I can fundraise there and invited me back for their Christmas events.
I also want to thank the kind couple who heard me on BBC Radio Bristol and donated items including 300 newborn baby hats in bundles, which I’m selling online.
I’ve also been to conferences in Birmingham to share my experience of living with epilepsy since 1987.
I’m looking forward to my next book being published in the next few months based on growing up in Bristol (in Hanham and Kingswood)
