Babies have been bringing joy to residents at Deerhurst Care Home in Kingswood.
The Brunelcare home has been taking part in Lullaby Circle, linking babies with older people.
The programme is run by Alive Activities, which recently received National Lottery funding.
Alive CEO Isobel Jones said all generations benefited from the scheme, with the children’s mothers getting a break while their babies entertain the residents.
Lullaby Circle at Deerhurst recently featured on Points West, with one mother telling the BBC: “You can see how much it means to the residents interacting with the babies. Some of the ladies here love babies more than anyone I’ve met.
“We can have a chat with the other mums which is a nice way to spend our maternity leave and it’s lovely.”
